Camel Dive Club & Hotel is an award-winning divers’ hotel ideally located in the heart of Naama Bay.
The hotel has 38 air-conditioned rooms arranged on two floors around a swimming pool and central courtyard. Pool View rooms (30 rooms) have their own terrace or balcony. Back View rooms (8 rooms) are of the same quality as Pool View, but with a street view and without a terrace. Camel Dive Hotel is accessible for wheelchair users and five Pool View rooms offer specially equipped bathrooms. Every room offers private bathroom with shower, satellite TV, fridge, direct dial telephone, digital safe deposit box and tea and coffee making facilities.

Facilities include a wide choice of places to eat and drink including Pomodoro, the Italian inspired restaurant and the Camel Bar. The property features a pool (with diver training area) with sun loungers and access to a beach (five minutes walk). WiFi internet access is available for free in public areas. Transfer is 15 minutes by road from Sharm airport.

Camel Dive Club, founded in 1986, is the longest-established diving brand in Sharm El Sheikh and has won many accolades over the years.

Located at the heart of Naama Bay, the Camel Dive Hotel and SSI Pro Instructor Training Centre offers daily boat diving to the many sites of Sharm El Sheikh, plus a comprehensive range of courses. Dive Ras Mohammed National Park and the Straits of Tiran, plus join regular full day trips to the Thistlegorm and Dunraven wrecks (local surcharge).

The dive centre welcomes wheelchair users, snorkellers, rebreather and technical divers. Nitrox 32% is complimentary for qualified divers (up to two 12 litre tanks/day). Offering a personal service, diver guide ratio here is 6:1.

Anna started her dive career in Croatia, Wales and Tobago, moving on to Belize, where she spent nearly 10 years instructing. She then moved on to the Pacific Ocean via Mexico, the Red Sea and New Zealand, settling in the Marshall Islands for two years. Anna has also managed a small dive centre on the island of Sulawesi near Lembeh and Bangka islands in Indonesia, exploring the amazing diving of Raja Ampat, Nusa Lembogan, Ambon and Saparua. Whilst on holiday Anna likes to combine her diving with topside activities such as hiking.

Great! If you wish to go ahead, booking is easy. To secure your holiday, we simply require you to:

1. Read our booking terms and conditions before making your booking. They are available to read on our website. If you would like us to post or email you a copy, just ask.

2. Pay a deposit, which your consultant will usually take over the phone. If you prefer, you may also pay by bank transfer in to the account details provided below.

The usual deposit we require is £150 per person or 10% of the total value of the trip – whichever is the greater. There may be instances when we have to ask for a higher deposit, but we will advise you if this is the case.

Flight instalment if your holiday includes instant purchase Blights, we will also require the full payment for these at the time you book your holiday. For example, this would be required if your holiday includes Blights with a low cost carrier, or if you are booking a last-minute holiday.

I quite like the itinerary, but wish to discuss some changes.

We hope that our proposal is just what you are looking for. If not, we will work with you to refine your itinerary until you are satisfied that it meets your needs. This is one key advantage of dealing with a specialist in tailor-made travel.

The itinerary isn't quite what I am looking for.

No problem. We offer many different locations worldwide and will be happy to discuss an alternative itinerary or alternative destinations with you.

If you are not quite sure where you want to go, your consultant will be happy to suggest destinations that fit your requirements. Simply contact your consultant, who will be happy to discuss any changes.

3. Complete your departure lounge. Once we receive your deposit we will set about getting all the arrangements confirmed for your holiday. We will confirm receipt of your payment and you will receive an email requiring you to submit full details of everyone travelling on your booking in your 'Departure Lounge', our secure online passenger portal.

4. We'll reconfirm your holiday once you have completed your 'Departure Lounge'. We'll send you a confirmation pack that clarifies the details of your booking and the reservations we have made for you, along with your ATOL certificate, the invoice for your holiday, and practical travel advice for your chosen
destination.

If any changes to the proposed itinerary are necessary at any stage, your consultant will inform you and suggest a suitable alternative.

What about the final balance?

We require you to make full payment 10 weeks before departure (12 weeks in the case of liveaboards and certain accommodations). If you book within 10 weeks of departure (or 12 in the case of a liveaboard and certain accommodations), you must make full payment when you book. Additional and final payments can be made by debit card or bank transfer.

Am I ready to dive?

If you've not dived for six months or more, then you'll need to tune up your skills with a refresher before diving. This ensures your own safety and enjoyment, but also that of those around you underwater. More experienced divers may not be required to undertake a scuba refresher. However, this will be at the discretion of the local diving operator(s) on your holiday. A refresher can be arranged with a local dive centre before your holiday or can be added to your holiday for an additional cost. Please inform our friendly team if you would like their assistance to arrange a refresher as part of your holiday.

All divers, including those learning to dive, are required to complete a medical questionnaire prior to diving to ensure they are fit to dive. If you know (or suspect) you have a condition that may impair your diving capabilities we strongly advise you to undergo a medical examination prior to travel. There are a few specialists around the UK who can help – the UK Diving Medical Committee website has details: www.ukdmc.org.

Is my money 100% secure?

We are a fully bonded tour operator and hold an Air Travel Organiser's Licence (ATOL) issued by the Civil
Aviation Authority (CAA), which regulates the travel industry. This provides you with complete financial protection and a guarantee on all money we receive from you.

Every holiday we sell that includes a Blight element is protected under our ATOL (licence number 10544). In the unlikely event of our insolvency, the CAA will ensure that you are not stranded abroad or will arrange to refund any money you have paid to us for an advance booking.

And our membership of the Association Of Bonded Travel Organisers Trust Limited (ABTOT) provides full Financial protection under the Package Travel, Package Holidays and Package Tours Regulations 1992 for packages that exclude flights.

How about travel insurance?

We strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance at the time of booking your trip as cover will commence for pre-departure cancellation from the date you purchase the insurance. This will therefore provide cover should you have to cancel your trip for an insured reason such as illness or serious accident preventing you from travelling.
